Meet the Team

Kristi Nakayama

Founder & CEO

Kristi, Japanese-American, LGBTQ+, Reiki Master and Founder & CEO of Enso Vitality, bridges the gap between clinical rigor and energetic mastery. With a foundation in Biological Psychology—the study of the brain’s impact on physical pathology—and over 24 years of executive experience in the medical industry, Kristi marries Western mind-body research with Eastern holistic practices. Her personal holistic health journey also spans more than two decades with the last 10 years focused on energy healing, including working with over 1,500 adolescents in in-patient mental health clinics.

Kristi’s experience overcoming decades of depression and anxiety through root cause, holistic methods is her drive to include holistic healing modalities in everyday personalized care. Her unique blend of scientific rigor and personal healing mastery drives Enso Vitality’s mission to revolutionize well-being through integrative, root-cause-focused, transformative health solutions.

Our Team

Medical Director

Keri Brooks

Functional Diagnostic nutritionist

Keri Brooks is a functional medicine practitioner and holistic nutrition specialist with nearly 20 years of clinical experience, including a Mayo Clinic research collaboration that produced measurable reductions in fatigue and stress scores, and enterprise roles at the Kalish Institute and Foresight Mental Health, training hundreds of clinicians and treating 500+ patients through functional lab diagnostics and nervous system regulation. Her rare synthesis of trial-tested protocol design, advanced diagnostics (GI-MAP, DUTCH, OAT), and somatic expertise directly shapes Enso's clinical methodology, bridging functional lab analysis, personalized nutrition, personal training and nervous system regulation into a scalable, outcomes-driven care model.

Hilary Lipner leads Enso Vitality's Culinary Program, bringing formal training as a Natural Chef and Nutrition Consultant from Bauman College alongside a decade of operational leadership at Trium Group, where she managed complex client engagements and program scaling. She translates the clinical team's therapeutic dietary protocols—including ketogenic, AIP, low FODMAP, and low histamine approaches—into practical culinary education, chef programming, and hands-on cooking instruction that helps patients turn personalized nutrition guidance into sustainable, everyday habits.
